A Legacy Built on Conviction.
Our story starts in 2006, with EICC. We built a construction company on one conviction — the Egyptian market needed builders who would take responsibility for the whole picture, not just the foundation. Project delivered, keys handed over, relationship done — that was the standard, and we set out to change it.
Two decades of construction work later, we asked the natural question: what if we developed the kinds of places we had spent years building for other people? In 2020, we launched Taj Misr.
EICC still builds. Taj Misr decides what gets built, and how — and that is why our developments feel different from the first sketch to the final handover.

Our journey
From 2020 to 2026, Taj Misr Developments has launched 11 projects across four locations in Egypt, including six Dejoya residential phases, three Taj Tower commercial developments, and two hospitality projects in partnership with Hilton and Boulevard.

Two launches, one mission
We opened with two simultaneous launches in the New Capital: Dejoya 1, our first residential development, and Ezdan Mall, our first commercial destination.
2021
Scaling the bet
Dejoya 2 and Dejoya 3 launched in the same year. The market was telling us the model worked; we listened.
2022
Going vertical
Taj Tower 1 opened a new category for us: landmark commercial in the heart of the New Capital.
2023
A second city
Dejoya Residence and Dejoya Villas launched in New Zayed — our first move into West Cairo.
2025
Three launches and a global partner
A landmark year: Dejoya 4, Taj Tower 2, and DoubleTree by Hilton — our first hospitality project.
2026
Going coastal
Taj Tower 3 is on the way in the New Capital, and through our partnership with Boulevard, we are breaking ground on our first hotel on the Red Sea in Marsa Alam.
