Taj Misr Hospitality

Cairo — July 5, 2026. Taj Misr Developments has established Taj Misr Hospitality, a dedicated hospitality division developing and operating a portfolio of internationally branded hotels and resorts across Egypt's most sought-after destinations — anchored by a partnership with Hilton spanning four of the group's brands: Hilton, DoubleTree, Spark, and Hampton.

The portfolio reaches from Cairo's prime districts to Egypt's Red Sea coastline, totalling more than 3,100 hotel rooms, branded residences, and hotel apartments across five properties. The move extends the delivery-led model of the EICC-backed developer — known for its Dejoya compounds and Taj Tower in the New Capital — into a sector where Hilton has publicly committed to a major Egypt expansion, with plans to grow to 25 new hotels across the country.

In Cairo, two boutique city properties lead the rollout. DoubleTree by Hilton Dokki combines 32 hotel rooms with 60 hotel-apartment keys, supported by a gym, restaurants, and meeting facilities, with operation scheduled for June 2027. On the Nile in Zamalek, Spark by Hilton brings 75 rooms to one of the capital's most storied addresses, with operation targeted for February 2027 — making it the first of the portfolio to open.

In West Cairo, the Hilton New Zayed complex rises on a 6-acre site at ground-plus-four floors, combining a 200-room Hilton hotel with 200 Hilton-branded residence keys and a 166-key Hampton by Hilton hotel. The complex's facilities include a clubhouse, pools, gym and spa, restaurants, meeting rooms, and housekeeping services — positioning it within the master-planned New Zayed community where Taj Misr already develops its Dejoya Zayed portfolio.

The Red Sea forms the portfolio's largest front. Boulevard Taj Misr Resort in Marsa Alam spans 152 acres of beachfront with 1,500 rooms and 100 hotel-apartment keys, scheduled to begin operation in December 2028. Nearby, Hilton Port Ghalib delivers 770 rooms in a strategic position beside Marsa Alam International Airport, placing guests minutes from arrival to check-in. Both resorts carry the full-service specification applied across the portfolio: clubhouse, pools, gym and spa, restaurants, and meeting facilities.

Each property pairs Taj Misr's development and construction capability — through parent contractor EICC, operating since 2006 — with management by a world-class international operator. The structure mirrors the group's integrated developer-contractor model in residential real estate, applied here to hospitality assets designed for long-term operation rather than one-off sale.

Why this matters: With five properties across city, community, and resort formats, Taj Misr Hospitality positions the group as a serious entrant in Egypt's hospitality sector at a moment when international operators are scaling up in the market — converting the "Ad El Waad" delivery promise into recurring-income hospitality assets and enduring value for investors.
